Edina Brenner becomes the new general manager of the trade and employers’ association Südwesttextil.
The 52-year-old will take over the position on May 1st, Südwesttextil announced on Thursday. Brenner takes over for Oliver Dawid, who “will take on a new challenge,” said Südwesttextil President Bodo Bölzle.
Since 2017, Brenner has worked for the employers’ associations of the metal and electrical industry in Bavaria (bayme vbm) and the Association of Bavarian Business (vbw) as Managing Director and Head of the Regions and Services department. Before that, she was managing director of the Bavarian Freight Forwarders Association for twelve years.
“In Ms. Brenner, we were able to gain an experienced association manager as general manager for Südwesttextil. We are very much looking forward to working with her,” says Bölzle
