The Dutch fitness chain Basic-Fit is taking over industry peer Clever Fit. With this acquisition, Basic-Fit claims to become the largest operator of gyms in Europe and also the market leader in Germany. In addition, Basic-Fit is expanding to twelve European countries with the acquisition. The company is now present in six European countries.
