The police are investigating at least fifteen mysterious letters that were delivered in Zuidlaren and Haren in recent weeks. These are letters addressed to ‘The New Family’.
Some letters have a US postage stamp and appear to have been sent from the United States. The letters contain a photo of an unknown boy and the letter contains incriminating texts.
The police are investigating the background of the letters and why they are being sent. People who have also received such a letter are asked to leave the letter closed and report to the police for trace investigation.
