Just a few months ago, Kevin Pannewitz weighed over 150 kilos. In order to get his chronic obesity under control, the former first division professional spent a lot of money. With initial successes.

He was once under contract with VfL Wolfsburg and Hansa Rostock, and today he is an influencer and trainer at Delay Sports: Kevin Pannewitz, who struggled with weight problems during his professional career, is currently undergoing an extensive and sustainable diet.

Around four months ago, he began a one-year weight loss program with professional support, which cost him 15,000 euros. The investment seems to be worth it, Pannewitz, who played 37 times for Rostock in the 2nd Bundesliga, is showing considerable progress.

In June he said he weighed 156 kilograms. Including a change in diet and a training plan, 26 kilograms have disappeared since then.

In a video on Instagram, Pannewitz and his advisor look at the development. Accordingly, he was able to significantly reduce his fatty tissue: the body fat percentage fell from 30 to 17.8 kilograms. The visceral fat in the abdominal area also decreased – from 12.7 to 8 kilograms. “You’ve actually reduced yourself by half,” was his advisor’s conclusion.

Pannewitz himself is visibly satisfied: “I stood in front of the mirror today and I really saw it, including the sides of the body and so on. That’s crazy,” says the Berlin native.

In order to achieve his goal, he now gives up soft drinks and only drinks water and coffee. He also consistently pays attention to a calorie deficit. According to the plan, another 25 kilograms should follow.

Pannewitz, who also struggled with alcohol problems during his active time, won the TV show “Battle of the Reality Stars” in 2020 and received 50,000 euros for it – now he is fighting again, this time for a healthier life.
