How were your beginnings in your profession?

When I finished high school, I dreamed of studying art: I wanted to learn to paint. My Drawing and Calligraphy teacher encouraged me not to give up on that dream. The only institution that taught visual arts was the Martín A. Malharro school. It was the year 1981. It was the artistic beginning, the first big decision of my life.

What are the services you provide?

At this moment my work is developed at the intersection between experimental photography techniques and textile interventions applied to the concept of memory construction. I work with cyanotype, solarigraphy, embroidery on paper, aerial embroidery, pinhole photography, analog double exposure, alternative processes and unconventional supports. In addition, I offer classes and seminars on experimental photography, embroidery on paper, aerial embroidery and textile intervention. My services also include the creation of exhibitions, talks, commissioned artistic productions and exhibitions available to tour. I also make illustrations for books. Educational projects.

How do you project yourself in the medium term?

I am currently doing the twelfth exhibition of the international tour Mar del Plata 150presented in Argentina, Spain, France and Italy during 2024-2025. The exhibition will open on October 16 at 3 p.m. at the Ministry of Economy of the Nation, CABA, and will remain open until December 12.

In the medium term I am developing the new project “Rome with Open Arms”, which will be presented in both Argentina and Italy.

I will participate in the month of November 2025, in the art fair Nuvolain Rome.

I’m still working on it Atavistic Projectwith which I investigate personal identity, family ancestry and Italian-Argentine migrations.

What differentiates you from the competition?

I do not define myself as a photographer, but as a visual artist who inhabits and transforms the image. I research and explore techniques that I consider appropriate to express each concept, working today at the intersection between experimental photography, textiles and memory.

I use each technique in a particular way to develop the concepts of my projects, which makes my work distinctive.

I am also characterized by the ability to generate a deep connection with the viewer, addressing topics such as migration, identity and the feminine, which touch the intimate fiber of many people, especially in this country so closely linked to Italian migration.

If you started over, what would you do differently?

If I started over, I wouldn’t do anything different. I value my journey very much: every decision I made brought me here and makes me be in this place today. I am satisfied with my path, I would travel it again in the same way, because each stage was necessary for my work and for me.
