According to the news in the Romanian press, CFR Cluj has put Mehmet Topal on its agenda for the position of technical director. CFR Cluj, who dismissed Andrea Mandorlini, could not reach an agreement with Dan Petrescu. Thereupon, the offer was sent to Mehmet Topal and the Turkish coach’s conditions were asked. The outcome of the meeting with Mehmet Topal, who previously had a successful performance coaching Petrolul Ploiesti in the Romanian league, is awaited.
