Atlético will be visiting Arsenal FC in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. But there was already an unpleasant surprise for the guests in advance.

Even before Atlético Madrid played in the Champions League duel at Arsenal on Tuesday evening, the team had to accept an unexpected disruption: there was no warm water in the dressing room at the Emirates Stadium in London.

As the club from the Spanish capital confirmed to the sports broadcaster ESPN, UEFA was informed about the incident directly on site. Coach Diego Simeone’s team discovered after the final training session on Monday evening that there was no warm water in the changing rooms. She then went straight back to the hotel to take a shower. According to ESPN, the issue was resolved shortly afterward. The BBC reported that Arsenal immediately apologized to the Atlético team.
