Eva Jinek has managed to get Suzan & Freek for a major interview. It is their first TV appearance since their last horror spring, in which they were told that he is terminally ill.
Suzan & Freek initially stopped all their concerts and activities when they learned in the spring that he was terminally ill. They eventually picked up the musical thread again in the summer, and they are currently still happily expecting their first child. The two now surprise with new music and concerts in the Gelredome.
Great interview
A new single will be released on Thursday titled Nobody. “We will be sitting with Eva on NPO 1 on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM to tell how we are doing and to chat about the past period, the baby and all the beautiful things there are! ❤️,” they say on Instagram.
It will be special television, thinks show expert Bart Ettekoven. He agrees Show news: “They give a big interview about what happened to them in recent months, the deep valleys they went through, but also how lovingly they were subsequently received by the entire Dutch people.”
‘It says a lot’
Tooske Ragas thinks this says a lot about the state of mind of Suzan & Freek. “If you can and dare to talk about that in a talk show with an interviewer, then it means that you have at least processed a lot of it, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to sit there at all, of course.”
She concludes: “Is this next year’s Impact Award, at the Televizier-Ring Gala? It will certainly be a very special conversation.”
