The North Holland woman has been skating from an early age. She has been doing serious mountain biking for about four years. “I think there is still some progress to be made in mountain biking. There is still room for improvement, for example, in improving my technique. In marathon skating, the Netherlands is the highest achievable. A step more is than winning more titles. That would be very nice,” said Mossinkoff.
Not to team Irene Schouten
Since this season she has been riding for the pure ICT-BTZ team. It was actually the intention that she would ride for Irene Schouten’s team, but that fell through at the last minute. “We were already training together. Then it turned out that Irene was not going to skate after all because of the health of her son who needs a lot of care.”
NH Sport was present at the Amsterdam Jaap Eden Ice Rink on Saturday and made the above video report.
