The most interesting game of the day
In the only Premier League match of the evening, West Ham–Brentford let us see how the home team’s new coach Nuno Espirito Santo lessons bite in the local game. As expected, West Ham changed their head coach less than a month ago after the team drifted into complete apathy by Graham Potter under. He was replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo, who is much better suited to West Ham’s material, on 27.9. Nuno is starting to become a real Premier League recycling manager, as it is the Portuguese’s fourth win in this decade. Now, after the Nottingham layoffs, unemployment only accumulated for two and a half weeks. Previous Premier League teams on Nuno’s CV are Nottingham, Tottenham and Wolves.
Nuno’s opening games at the helm of West Ham produced a 1-1 away draw against Everton and a 0-2 away loss to Arsenal before the international break. West Ham, who were expecting a goal, lost a total of 1.7–3.5 in those struggles. Considering the opposition, the balance is quite decent considering that in the early season matches they ran through West Ham’s defense as if through an open gate. Now below is a two-week structure with the way of playing, and at least the expectation is that a decent coach has made further development.
West Ham will enter the match with their best possible formation, but the attack lacks the option of the injured Niclas Füllkrug. Opponent Brentford lost 0–1 at home to Manchester City before the national team break. As a whole, however, the team has found its feet well with its long-term head coach by Thomas Frank from departure. Brentford’s injury situation is also in good shape, with only a young rotation player in midfield Antoni Milambo is missing.
West Ham–Brentford starts at 22:00.
The best betting tip of the day
In terms of betting, West Ham–Brentford is a very interesting case. In the market, Brentford’s coefficient has dropped and West Ham’s has risen so strongly in the last few days that even though Brentford has a clear game style advantage (perhaps even a material advantage) over West Ham, under the new coach (Nuno Espirito Santo) West Ham, who were allowed to train in peace during the international break, has already almost by force turned into a more interesting game destination. Of course, the twist here is that Veikkaus offers the highest available odds (2.85) for Brentford’s win, clearly different from the market.
In the end, the promised 1.70 out of under 2.75 goals will be the best choice, as West Ham already defended Nuno in the first two matches (Everton – West Ham 1–1 and Arsenal–West Ham 2–0) clearly better than in Graham Potter’s time. Now, after a good training session, I think that part of the area is already in as good a condition as it is possible to get with that crew. Neither West Ham’s nor Brentford’s offensive play/material can be praised.
For early bets, the 1.70 offered for the Fribourg–Zug match of the Swiss league under 5.5 goals is valid for the coupon. The game will be played on Tuesday. The Kloten–Servette match under 5.5 goals is also overmultiplied with a 1.91 offer.
Today’s games: West Ham – Brentford under 2.75 goals (coefficient 1.70), Friborg – Zug under 5.5 goals (coefficient 1.70) and Kloten – Servette under 5.5 goals (coefficient 1.91).
Total balance of today’s games: 141/251/103%
