This year she was crowned world champion: Anna Hall. She is also happy in her private life – and posted touching words to her boyfriend, who is an NFL player.

Anna Hall was crowned heptathlon world champion in Tokyo in September. The 24-year-old American is in second place in the all-time best list and often gives her fans insights into her everyday sporting life on Instagram. Now the athlete also published a declaration of love there.

She posted a series of photos of her boyfriend Darius Slayton and herself. Slayton is also active in sports as a football player. The 28-year-old is under contract with the New York Giants.

In the first snapshot of the series you can see the athlete standing on a jetty by the sea with Slayton in her arms. The two look into each other’s eyes in love while waves on the sea can be seen in the background. Everyday situations can also be found in the series of pictures: in one photo, the football player is preparing a breakfast of scrambled eggs and pancakes in the kitchen. In another picture, the footballer is carrying Hall on his back.

She wrote about the shared moments: “One year with us. I love you, honestly.” The world champion also shared a red heart and a verse from Thessalonians. This reads: “So encourage one another and help one another to grow stronger in the faith, just as you are already doing.”

Her friend commented with a red heart. He shared a photo of Hall himself on his Instagram story and wrote: “A year with my ace.” He also sent his girlfriend a large bouquet of flowers.

Anna Hall posted this in her story. It consists of pink, salmon and white roses. Hall wrote: “But did you order the whole store?” She then showed followers another photo. It shows that the ostrich is larger than Hall’s dog. She posted this picture as a “big comparison,” as she called it herself.

Under Hall’s post, US hurdles star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone congratulated. The four-time Olympic champion and five-time world champion wrote “Cuties”. Sprint star Noah Lyles’ fiancée, Junelle Bromfield, also said: “Too sweet.”
