882 days after the last ATP tournament won (Rome 2023), Daniil Medvedev returns to lift a trophy. The Russian defeated the Frenchman Corentin Moutet in the ATP 250 in Almaty with a score of 7-5 4-6 6-3 after more than two and a half hours of play. For the awards ceremony, the Russian had to wear a “shapan”, the traditional Kazakh dress.
