Holm and the Italian scored the goals with which the Italian team, who hadn’t won away since last March, won at the Domus Arena

Now it’s the epic of the “knock knock”. And if he doesn’t find a camera within reach he does it anyway, in the middle of the field and then going head to head with Italiano as usual. Riccardo Orsolini closes the practice on the wheel of Cagliari, scoring the sixth goal against the Sardinians but above all of the season (5+1 in Europe), a goal of 0-2 which takes him up to the solitary top of the championship’s top scorer. Bologna, who had produced three bursts in Side A (one with a goal from Holm), controlled the changes in formation made by Pisacane with the coolness of the strong. And then he entered Bear for the 0-2 and for the away victory that hadn’t come for 204 days, therefore from Venice-Bologna in which who decided it? Bear. From Orsolini to Orsolini: easy nursery rhyme.

Trim and flames

As expected, the Italian (Bologna wears mourning on his arm for the passing of the icon-bomber Gino Pivatelli) puts Ravaglia and Bernardeschi, does not give up the Super Ferguson-Freuler-Odgaard trio, Castro is in front. Pisacane chooses to set up his Cagliari in a different way: Zappa is there and therefore Palestra moves up to fourth, Borrelli is not initially there but Seba Esposito is with Folorunsho. It is essentially a 4-4-1-1 that produces more coverage with momentum: Cagliari wants to limit the outbursts especially on the wingers (systematic doubles) but also centrally by Bernardeschi and Soci by moving Folorunsho back onto the midfielders’ line with the aim of restarting even with long balls. The tactic – different from the usual 4-3-2-1 – tends to exploit Bologna’s high line: the start is Bologna willing but obvious and slow, Cagliari more closed but who takes a virtual crossbar (8′) with Prati, virtual because the referee Marchetti had already whistled a foul. There is also a goal from Felici, canceled due to Adopo’s active offside, but above all there is Palestra who shows that he is awake and strong while Bologna only makes the first shot on goal in the 29th minute (Ferguson) and the second with Bernardeschi, a missile in the “seven” with Caprile who becomes superlative. It’s an appetizer for the 0-1: corner kick taken by Bern, tower by Odgaard, goal under goal by Holm. Three bursts made the difference against a Cagliari who had produced a little more until the goal in the 30th minute. Football also lives on moments and Bologna collected the third seed from Side A.

Tangled forms

In essence, Pisacane did but not enough. So he thought and rethought the structure: first 4-3-3 inserting Borrelli and Luvumbo, then 4-2-3-1 with Gaetano inside and lowering Folorunho. Italiano inserted Lykogiannis for Miranda (warned and injured) and Orsolini for a Bernardeschi who finally showed what he is really capable of, i.e. quality shots. That’s right Bear who ends the match with the usual shot coming in from the right, the usual knock-knock and all while Marchetti makes a mistake in awarding a penalty to Bologna. Only one mistake in a match in which Cagliari lost their bearings due to too many tactical changes (three) by their coach.
