TMZ reports the lawsuit.
Rebellious royal Princess Mahra of Dubai (31) divorced via Instagram and is now marrying a Western rapper
Borrow a watch for Fashion week
According to TMZ, Obiang and Gato met the rapper in Geneva in 2015 and have kept in touch since. In 2024, Karim Kharbouch, as the rapper is really called, was supposed to meet the two in Egypt, but asked Obiang to exchange watches before arriving.
Obiang refused, so the rapper asked if he could borrow Obiang’s watch for 30 days for the Paris Fashion Week. As collateral, he gave them a watch that the rapper said was worth more than $1 million.
Collateral is fake
The pair from Switzerland now say that the borrowed watch has still not been returned even after repeated attempts to contact the rapper. The Swiss also claim that the watch given as collateral is a fake. The watch that the rapper still has is now said to be worth more than 1 million dollars.
Montana’s attorney told TMZ that the Swiss’ claims are untrue and that he plans to sue Obiang and Gato. Montana says he went to Egypt because Obiang convinced him to come. He made several media appearances there and posted messages on social media.
He would have accepted the watch as payment.
