Splinter Chabot looked quite ridiculous this week as presenter of the Televizier red carpet show. Who put that on him? “It looks like a zebra crossing. Or some kind of wallpaper roll!”
29-year-old Splinter Chabot doesn’t mind a little attention. He likes to stand out, and at the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala he did so in a very silly outfit from some designer. It all looked quite ridiculous, they thought at the desk Show news. Bart Ettekoven and Ronald Molendijk really go wild on that boy.
Zebra crossing
Patty Brard apparently likes Splinter and tries to make it fun. “Splinter Chabot was wearing Iris van Herpen and that suited him, you know what I mean?” she says.
Presenter Dyantha Brooks: “Not really at all.”
Ronald then: “A zebra crossing.”
Patty: “I think it’s nice.”
Wallpaper roll
Dyantha believes that the designer has missed the mark. “It is Iris van Herpen. She is very popular, but is this really…”
Patty: “I certainly thought it was special.”
Dyantha: “Very striking indeed.”
Bart: “He always wears that kind of crazy stuff, doesn’t he?”
Ronald: “It looks like a roll of wallpaper that he has put on. Beautiful, but different.”
Not a good day
Bart thinks it’s a failed wallpaper. “A roll of wallpaper? With two sagging breasts.”
Show expert Eline van Ruig: “He just says that to Iris van Herpen, who dresses Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.”
Ronald: “That designer? Yes, but he doesn’t always have to have a good day, does he?”
Bart concludes: “This was a Monday suit!”
