The public prosecutor’s office has appointed a traffic expert to investigate the circumstances of the accident. The woman (born in 1945) tried to cross the N37 while holding her bicycle, but would not have done so at the zebra crossing. The initial findings also showed that there was no excessive speed.
An initial test shows that the driver had not consumed alcohol. The driver was in shock after the incident and was taken to hospital.
