The Detroit Red Wings and national player Moritz Seider have their winning streak in the professional ice hockey league NHL continued and lead the table in the Atlantic Division taken over.
After the success over masters Florida Panthers Detroit also defeated its in-state rival Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 after extra time and won for the fourth time in a row.
Defender Seider showed a strong defensive performance (including four blocked shots) and was thus prepared for the top German duel on Sunday (9 p.m. CEST) with Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers. Dylan Larkin scored the decisive goal for the Red Wings after 3:36 minutes in overtime.
