Dancing with the stars – broadcast celebrated the program’s 18th birthday on Sunday.

In the middle of the broadcast, the first season of the program from 2006 was recalled and the viewers were shown video material from 19 years ago.

The video clip ended with the then host Marco Bjurström regretting that the then dance teacher, the current judge, Helena Ahti-Hallberg, was not wearing any clothes.

– Look at those clothes and suits. That Helena has no clothes on either. He’s almost a doll here on stage! Bjurström said as the camera filmed the line of dancers.

Standing in line was Ahti-Hallberg, who was dressed in a purple lace dress. Check out how the outfit looked below.

A surprising comment

Iltalehti met Ahti-Hallberg on the dance floor after Sunday’s broadcast. Ahti-Hallberg said that the statement heard on the broadcast about nagging was surprising, because she herself felt that she was even wearing covering clothes.

– I had a polo collar and long sleeves. Everything was covered. I had a slightly short hem. That’s probably where the comment came from. The comment was a comment, Ahti-Hallberg stated.

Ahti-Hallberg says that in her opinion, the sentence was in no way negative or offended her. He has nothing but fond memories of the show’s early seasons.

In Ahti-Hallberg’s opinion, it has been fulfilling to act as a judge of the program, when the background is also experience of being a dance teacher. Ahti-Hallberg can identify with the experiences of students and teachers better, since she herself has gone through them once.
