34.
9:36 p.m
The game is currently plodding along a bit because Juventus has found itself in defense and is preventing FCB from getting dangerously into the final third.
30.
9:32 p.m
After a long time, the hosts got another corner, but it wasted because Juventus covered the first post well and cleared it with their head.
27.
9:30 p.m
The midfield around Stanway, Caruso and Dallmann is very dominant and Juventus hardly wins the ball here. The Old Lady is still vulnerable on the outside, as the combination before Harder’s 1-0 win shows.
24.
9:27 p.m
The hosts have managed the equalizer well so far and have not let themselves be dissuaded from their own match plan: Bühl in particular repeatedly stimulates the game from their wing and FCB can easily get shots in the center. In this case, Harder is two meters missing from the second row.
21.
9:22 p.m

Yellow card for Tatiana Pinto (Juventus)
Tatiana Pinto draws a tactical foul on Caruso in the center circle and tugs too much on the Italian’s jersey in FC Bayern’s uniform.
20.
9:22 p.m
FCB can no longer buy from the great superiority and early lead and we are starting from scratch again. The hosts continue to have the lead when it comes to possession of the ball.
17.
9:19 p.m

Great for Juventus, 1-1 by Eva Schatzer
Juventus responds with a dream goal! Schatzer sensitively converts a direct free kick at a right angle. The Italians thus brought their first own qualification into the Bavarian box.
15.
9:17 p.m
Double chance for Bayern! For the third time, Bühl can move to the baseline on the left and cross almost unchallenged. This time Tanikawa hits the crossbar with his head and Dallmann’s follow-up shot at the second post is blocked in time.
13.
9:15 p.m
The Bundesliga club’s pressure phase is paying off! Juventus Turin, on the other hand, does not take place offensively and the guests are also a little passive defensively.
11.
9:13 p.m

Great for Bayern Munich, 1-0 by Pernille Harder
Now Harder does it better! Bühl is involved again because she is not properly defended on the left side when dribbling to the baseline. The national player lifts the ball half-high onto the first post and Harder is there, sinking it with her head into the near corner!
10.
9:12 p.m
Stanway from the second row! Bayern remain active and the ball is again moved to the middle via Bühl. This time a good distance into the backcourt, so that the English playmaker finishes from a distance and slightly distorts it.
9.
9:11 p.m
Harder misses the lead! A failed dribble by Dallmann on the edge of the penalty area comes somewhat fortunately to Bühl on the left side. The national player pulls the leather flat to the first post, where Harder runs in and shoots past from close range.
7.
9:09 p.m
At Bayern’s first corner, Turin’s goalkeeper Peyraud-Magnin doesn’t seem confident and half-heartedly punches the ball towards the second post. There, a defense attorney helps out and finally clarifies the action.
6.
9:07 p.m

Yellow card for Cecilia Salvai (Juventus)
Juventus’ defense chief Salvai received a yellow card early on because she worked too much with her arms against Harder and pulled the Dane to the ground in front of the referee.
3.
9:05 p.m
Both teams disrupt the other team’s build-up to the game, so there are slight mistakes on both sides in the first few minutes. However, these ball losses are easy to cope with in midfield.

The ball is rolling in the FC Bayern Campus!

Game start
8:55 p.m
The duel between Bayern Munich and Juventus Turin has only taken place twice as a competitive game: last year the two teams met in the group stage of the premier class! The German champions defeated the Old Lady very confidently in the first and second legs with a score of 6-0.
20:42
Juventus got off to a more successful start in the Women’s Champions League: thanks to a brace from defender Salvai, the Italians beat Benfica Lisbon 2-1. Overall, the Old Lady relies on many players from their own country, but Italy’s European Championship heroine Girelli is only on the bench. Instead, Vangsgaard and Cambiaghi start as a strike duo. With Wälti (formerly Turbine Potsdam & Arsenal), Juventus gained a lot of experience for the midfield in the summer, which also means that Krumbiegel, the only German player in the guests’ squad, initially sits on the bench.
20:24
The fact that there are no personnel changes in the hosts’ starting eleven also means that Dallmann is on the field from the start for the second time in a row – the midfielder was, somewhat surprisingly, not selected for the DFB team during the week. Because Mahmutovic is out injured, Grohs is back between the posts from the start. Oberdorf, on the other hand, is still waiting for her comeback in the first eleven, while Gwinn is now allowed to play again. With Schüller, Padilla-Bidas and Şehitler, FCB coach José Barcala still has well-known alternatives from the bench.
20:12
The injury-plagued women of FC Bayern had to endure a bitter setback at the start of the premier class: the Bundesliga team lost 7-1 to Barcelona and suffered their first defeat of the season. At the weekend, however, FCB won the top game against VfL Wolfsburg 3-1 and thus confirmed their lead in the league.
20:02
Good evening and welcome to matchday 2 of the Women’s Champions League! In the newly introduced league phase, FC Bayern welcomes the women of Juventus Turin in their first home game on the international stage. It starts at 9 p.m.!
