“It is a problem with a router,” says a spokesperson. The outage mainly affects customers from North Holland and Flevoland. In total, the provider has approximately 7 million customers. This also includes customers of Ben and Simpel, which are part of Odido.

The outage started around noon on Thursday. Tens of thousands of reports have now been received on Allestoringen, and the number is rising. The spokesperson says that the provider thought he had solved the problem, but this has not been the case. He cannot say when the solution is expected.
Odido is experiencing major disruptions more often this year. This was also the case in June (twice) and August.

The spokesperson says that emergency services are not affected by the disruption. “If one provider is down, emergency services automatically use another provider. Emergency services only notice it when all network providers are experiencing a disruption.”
