These musical fellow citizens participate in the TV show The Tribute

The fifth season of the TV show will start soon The Tribute – Battle of the Bands. In it, tribute bands show what they can do to win a performance in the Ziggo Dome. Zoetermeer residents also shine in the SBS6 show.

These are the fellow citizens participating:

• Erwin (57) is an IT consultant in normal life, but in the KISS tribute band Kiss Alive ’75 he provides lead guitar and background vocals.
• Hanno (59) is a firefighter, but at Kiss Alive ’75 he sets the drums on fire (figuratively) with his percussion.

The Tribute – Battle of the Bands

In the anniversary season of The Tribute – Battle of the Bands thirteen tribute bands play the biggest hits of their favorite artist to perfection. In the first four episodes, a tire falls off every time. A professional jury consisting of Cesar Zuiderwijk, Angela Groothuizen and Spike (from Di-rect) determines who should go home. Can Kiss Alive ’75 blow the jury away and end up in the final? The bands will then perform in the Ziggo Dome on Thursday, April 16, 2026 The Tribute in concert. Tickets are via this link available.

Johnny de Mol will be responsible for presenting the TV program, just like last year. The first episode can be seen on Saturday, November 8 at 8 p.m. on SBS6. The final will be broadcast on Saturday, December 27.

In addition to Kiss Alive ’75, the following bands are also participating: Beach Boys Best, Child of Destiny, Donna’s Hot Stuff, Future Nostalgia, Ja Maar, Illusion a BZN tribute, The Dutch Bryan Adams Experience, The Dutch Boy George, William Janz & The Julio Band, Coming on Strong, The Cosmic Carnival and Charl sings Shaffy.
