Two friendly matches against Iceland

On the way to the European Championships in Denmark, Sweden and Norway (January 15th to February 1st), Germany will test against Iceland on October 30th in Nuremberg and three days later in Munich. The two games”become enlightening for us“Gislason said:”We need an absolute top level for the European Championships in January.

Kiesler had already been in the extended squad for the 2024 Olympic Games, but has recently been slowed down again and again due to various injuries. The right-hander is a “very interesting player“, said Gislason. U21 world champion Ludwig should be developed as the third goalkeeper after Wolff and David Späth.
