In September, Denis Husser still ran for the German U19 national team. For the time being, there are no further games for the attacker.

Bitter news for Dennis Husser: The German U19 international contracted a serious injury on Sunday. This was announced by his club Hannover 96 on Monday evening. Husser broke the outer ankle in his left foot, it said in the statement of the second division club. He will be canceled for several months.

The misfortune of the U23 of the Lower Saxony was played against Drochtersen/Assel. Husser got stuck in the lawn after an air show near the center line. He was then taken to the hospital. There was the diagnosis there.

96 Managing Director Marcus Mann expressed his regret about the 18-year-old’s injury. “We are very sorry for Denis,” he said. “Of course it is not easy to deal with such an injury.” However, Husser knew that the club will be at his side and that “accompany him on his way back at each of his steps”.

Husser signed a long -term working paper in Hanover in February, which was converted into a professional contract with his 18th birthday in mid -September. The 1.96 meter tall striker has been training at the club’s license team since summer, but has so far only been used in the Regionalliga Nord for the U23. Husser scored three goals in eleven games.

The native Hesse also ran for various German junior national teams. In September, Husser was still in the contingent of the U19 selection of coach Christian Wörns. In the 3-1 win over Italy, he also scored his first goal. In the brilliant 7: 3 of the U18 via the Czech Republic a year ago, Husser even contributed a four -pack.
