THEthe Middle East Now!begins on 7 October with the performance of Mazen Kerbaj, Libanese cartoonist and artist.
Following, the 16th edition of the Festival dedicated to the cinema and culture of the Middle East, proposes the documentary Yalla Parkour of Areab Zuaiter, protagonist Gaza, before the warin the gaze of a group of young people who lived and practiced the parkour there.
From Lebanon – half a century from the beginning of the civil war – arrives Do you love me by Lana Daher, affectionate incursion in the archives of a country and an attempt to explore the collective psyche of a people.

To be seen My Father and Qaddafi by jihan k (In the photo a frame of the autobiographical documentary): Jihan, deprived of the memory of his father Mansur Rashid Kikhia, a former Libyan diplomat, opponent of the Gaddafi regime, who disappeared in Cairo in 1993, tries to reconstruct his memory.
Info: The Middle East Now It will be in Florence from 7 to 12 October. Many events scheduled, from the screenings of films and documentaries, to exhibitions, to talk.
