Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs has cancer. At the beginning of the year he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, as the musician made public on October 3, 2025. Due to the treatment, he now has to suspend several concerts of the current reunion tour.
In a message, the musician turned to his fans. In it he explained that he would miss the planned appearances in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. “It really makes me sad not to be there at these shows, but I’m fine and I will be back for South America in time,” he wrote on Instagram.
At the same time, the musician emphasized that he is doing well on the treatment and looking forward to the return: from November 15, he wants to accompany the group again when the South America tour in Buenos Aires starts and ends on November 23 in São Paulo. As early as 2022, Arthur had had to take a longer break due to cancer. At that time he had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, but after successful therapy he was again considered cancer -free. The band shared its posting as an insta story. You wrote: “All the best for your treatment, @Boneheadspage – we’ll see you back on stage in South America.” Anyone who represents him on the upcoming appointments is not yet known.

The band will play next October 12th in Seoul. DAnach stand on October 15th Tokyo and on October 19 Melbourne. This is followed by an appearance on October 21st in Sydney before going to South America for Oasis in November.
Bonehead already announced cancer in 2022
Bonehead was already confronted with a cancer diagnosis in 2022: At that time, he found almond cancer, which is why he had to cancel several concerts with Liam Gallagher.
