Liisa Ahlqvist-Lehkoosuo has been a top sports manager at the Olympic Committee since the beginning of 2023. His responsibilities have also included the tasks of the general leadership of the race team. Prior to the Olympic Committee, Ahlqvist-Lehkosuo worked as a top athletic director of the Gymnastics Association. He has previously worked as head coach and coaching manager for the Vantaa Gymnastics Club. Ahlqvist-Lehkosuo is a Master of Science (MSc) and professional coach.
The sports director is a member of the management team and leads the team of experts.
“The key to this new activity is to strengthen coaching and leadership expertise in collaboration with sports federations, sports academies and coaching centers,” emphasizes Ahlqvist-Lehkosuo.
