Lola Young draws consequences
“I will be gone for a while,” wrote the singer in a statement on Instagram on September 30th. “It hurts me to say that I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.” The day before, the British had already canceled her show in Washington, DC after collapsing on stage in New York.
Young suffered a collapse during the performance of her song “Conceited” (2024) at a festival in the Forest Hills Stadium on September 27th. She had been suffering from cocaine addiction for a long time, as she revealed in an interview with “The Guardian” in mid -September. “It was a fight – I definitely had to work on my inner healing while I had to deal with tours and other things.”

“I really hope that you give me a second chance if I had some time to work on myself and come back strengthened,” Lola Young continued to write on Instagram. She thanked her fans for “love and support” that the prices for all already acquired tickets would be reimbursed.
