CAMERA – Center for photography in Turin celebrates the life and work of an extraordinary figure of the world culture of the twentieth century, the great New York photographer Lee Miller: 160 photographs from the Lee Miller Archives, many unpublished will be exhibited from Wednesday 1st October to 1st February in the path entitled ‘Lee Miller. Works 1930-1955 ‘, edited by Walter Guadagnini. The exhibition itinerary, which follows a chronological trend, focuses on the intense activity between the thirties and fifty of the twentieth century of the American author, a bridge ideal between the United States – her native land – Europe, she had to still transfer young and where she decides to settle, first in Paris and then in England, and also Africa, where she spends a few years of its intense life.
