André Hazes Jr. and Mart Hoogkamer do not continue as SBS 6 duo for the time being. Although the gentlemen have been approached for a second season of their Geer & Goor-spin-off, they are now abandoning it.
It was a huge weak extract from the former TV hit Joling & Gordon over the floor and it seems to stay with one season. For the time being there will be no second series from Hazes & Hoogkamer: at your service at SBS 6, Mart Hoogkamer confirms to the desk of Shownieuws. He did not come out with colleague André Hazes Jr.
Not a second series
André initially did not want to make a second series, because he was good after all the criticism, but in August both gentlemen indicated that there is still a sequel to the arrival.
It has been abandoned again, Mart says now. “Not yet now, because our agendas do not fit together. Of course we talked about it and we also wanted to take it up again as quickly as possible, but what I say: it is not fitting together in the agenda now.”
Nice and busy
Mart states that it is just too busy. “André is now also nice and busy with a tour and everything around it and I am also just doing my own thing. Maybe we either have time in the summer and both have two or three weeks off and then try it …”
Would he still feel like it? “Yes, of course. Whatever the Netherlands thought: we really laughed.”
Fierce criticism
Mart himself was a little less with the criticism than André did. “Of course we also knew that the mustache was watching and that it was on it, but it is just bad boys’ regions we did.”
There was mainly controversy about the fact that the singers put their arm in a pregnant cow. “I’m just going well. I just love it and if people don’t like it, I like it too.”
