At FC Schalke 04 things have been going well in the current second division season, but striker Moussa Sylla has been inhibition since the 2nd matchday. According to a “Sport Bild” report, the 25-year-old is still considered a candidate for sales, but in the event of a full train in winter, the Gelsenkirchener would have to press a considerable part of the transfer to Sylla’s former club PAU FC and his ex-consultant.
According to this, 15 percent of the transfer surplus will flow to France when changing the best S04 goal shooter last season. In the case of the polled Schalke transfer request of 6 million euros, PAU FC would receive more than 500,000 euros into the cash register. In addition, a discount goes to Sylla’s former consultant agency, which in this case would amount to 250,000 euros. Moussa switched to the royal blue last summer for 2.5 million euros.
In the summer, a change of the attacker reported reportedly despite several offers. Leicester City, DC United and FC Valencia were considered concrete interested parties, but were ultimately not ready to pay the desired and market value -based transfer. “For reasons of budget, it would make sense on the departure side if we had found one or the other solution”, in retrospect, sports director Frank Baumann, in general with a view to the past transfer window, in which Schalke each achieved a plus of 5.6 million euros in 20 climbers and exits (loan, returnee and young player).

Sylla had contributed 17 scorers in 27 league games in his first season. The professional with a contract until 2028 seemed to be calm that a departure from Schalke did not become a reality in summer. “Now I am here to give everything – for the club, for the coach, for the people here. In football it is like this: On one day you are here, on another there,” Sylla recently reflected: “A transfer is not in my head, I’m 100 percent in my head at Schalke.” After his goal in the opening game against Hertha, the national player Malis now hopes that the goal knot burst again as quickly as possible.
