Ahmed Aboutaleb appeared with Eva Jinek yesterday, despite his exclusive contract with RTL Tonight. He was there to be interviewed about his life story, but also: how do you like RTL?
It is a big deception for everyone in the channel top: the complete failure of RTL Tonight. The panel members who had to explain to the country in the coming years how the world works are greatly fall back: Ahmed Aboutaleb is also just a fairly boring TV personality. And even worse: there is no chemistry at all with the other panel members.
“Is it fun?”
How do you like Ahmed to work at a TV flop? He was asked last night by Eva Jinek, who received him to interview him about his life story. “Is it so nice if you had thought?” She asks.

“I said yes when I was approached, because I thought: maybe I can just find another perspective and achieve in the midst of that cacophony of all those sounds that nowadays sound about social, political and international relationships, which on balance only serve the flanks and I am not very much of the flanks.”
“Will that work?”
Eva leaves it that. “And will that work?” She asks him.
