The German record champion celebrates a safe victory at the surprise team from Cyprus. The spell breaks early – and there is also a premiere.

FC Bayern remains without loss of points this season-and that with a Tor gala at the Champions League outsider: 5: 1 (4: 1), Bayern won at Pafos FC in Cyprus and thus celebrated the ninth victory in the ninth competitive game 2025/26.

Harry Kane (15th, 34th), Raphaël Guerreiro (20th), newcomer Nicolas Jackson with his goal premiere for Bayern (31st) and Michael Olise (68th) met on Tuesday evening for a relaxed victory for temporarily into play. For the hosts, Mislav Oršić (45th) scored the honor goal.

After the 3-1 at the start of the “premier class” against Chelsea FC, the team of coach Vincent Kompany was now also the second victory in a row at European level and are well under the top night of the Champions League. However, the thick chunks are still waiting in defending champion Paris Saint-Germain (November 4) and Arsenal (November 26). But it continues on October 22nd at home against FC Bruges.

Prime expert Matthias Sammer praised the Munich team shortly before the game as “currently the best team in Europe”. The Bavarians started with a corresponding tailwind. Kompany had made five changes after the recent 4-0 against Bremen. Among other things, midfielder Joshua Kimmich returned to the starting eleven. Jackson also got a chance on the offensive next to Kane from the start.

But Luis Díaz (7th) had the first option before Kane only hit the inner post (9th). But only a little later the Englishman scored the 101st goal in the 105th game with the record champions. Bayern remained stormy and added three goals in a one -sided first half. Only a mistake by Min-Jae Kim made it 1: 4 to the hosts.
