The Danish jewelry provider Pandora A/S gets a new boss. On Tuesday, the retailer announced that CEO and President Alexander Lacik, who has been at the head of the group since 2019, will resign during the coming annual general meeting on March 11, 2026.

His successor has already been found internally: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Berta de Pablos-Barbier is said to take on previous posts, according to the Lacik group. Its task is to continue the company’s “constant strategic evolution” and to build on the “strong results”, which were recently achieved under Lacik’s leadership.

The designated CEO was switched from LVMH to Pandora in 2024

The designated CEO came to Pandora as a CMO in November 2024. According to the company, the Spaniard has 30 years of leadership experience with international companies from the luxury and consumer goods industry. From 2020 to 2024 she had led the champagne brand Moët & Chandon, which belonged to the French luxury goods group LVMH LVMH. Before that, she had worked for Mars, Lacoste and Boucheron.

Chairman Peter Ruzicka explained the personnel decision: “The board of directors is very pleased that Berta de Pablos-Barbier will be the next CEO of Pandora. Together with Alexander Lacik, we brought her up as a possible CEO candidate, and during our search she turned out to be a clear number one,” he said in a statement. “She is a visionary manager with great analytical skills and a perfect mix of experiences with top brands from the areas of luxury, fashion and consumer goods.”

De Pablos-Barbier is “the right person to promote our further growth, and I am pleased that we can keep our strategic focus and our dynamics during this smooth and orderly change of management,” said Ruzicka.
