After a dry spell with three defeats in a row, SSV Jahn Regensburg was able to get an important 2-0 victory against the SC Verl, actually clearly favored on Sunday. Robin Ziegele (81st) and Phil Beckhoff (90.+2) provided the two late and redeeming goals. The three points were well deserved: against the offensive guests, the Upper Palatinate remained poisonous over the entire game and kept lurking on counterattacks.

Even before the lead goal, the Jahn was able to set accents against the recently so strong Verler: Dustin Forkel developed three greater chances, but repeatedly junk in front of the goal.
