After the Propalestinian protests on the Vuelta tour in Spain, the organizers of the Italian single-day race Giro Dell’emilia excluded the Israel Premier Tech team.

The race on October 4 with a destination in the northern Italian city of Bologna is not part of the World Tour calendar. The Israeli team has not yet commented on the decision. Most recently, the World Association President David Lappartante skeptically showed himself on which legal basis the team should be excluded.
During the tour of the Spain, protesters had disturbed the race over the entire period of the Vuelta. The final stage in mid -September had to be canceled after people in Madrid had promoted barrier grids onto the street and there had been gatherings with the police.
The team should be renamed promptly
