At the first cycling World Cup in Africa, Canadian Magdaleine Vallieres Mill has secured her greatest success of her young career so far. The German Antonia Niedermeier had to give up late in the street race and landed on the 6th place.
At the Tour de Fance Femmes, Vallieres Mill still took 18th place, on Saturday afternoon the cyclist crowned herself with the World Cup title. Their teammates chanted at the finish “Best of the World (best in the world)” And the winner could not really believe her triumph yet.
