MIlano, 25 sets. (askanews) – They are disruptive, revolutionaries, transgressive and rebellious, are the actors of the Catalan company La Fura Dels Baus who stage Sons: ser or no ser “(” sounds, being or not being “), inspired by Shakespeare’s Amleto, a total show for the first time in Milan as Carlus Padrissa tells, among the founders of the company and director of the show.
“He speaks directly to the attitude of the human being. Of being or not being. Being means, saying no to genocide, being alive and sensitive to what is happening in the world”

“Sons: ser or no ser” combines physical theater, 360 degrees immersive video, digital scenography and surrender sound, immersing the viewer on a journey between life and death, reason and madness, freedom and responsibility.
“The immersive theater of the Fura requires that the public raises from the chair, it must stand, it is an interactive game with the actors, the viewer can decide where to stay if on the edge of the room or close to the actors until he smells his smell and heat. It is a show to follow with all six senses, also that of inner consciousness”.

Fura once again breaks the “fourth wall” and pushes the viewer outside his comfort area, with a proposal that mixes art, technology and emotion in a unique and disruptive language. A universal message that makes you think and excite.
“The Teatro della Fura makes you come back alive, pulls out what you have inside to listen, feel and also be able to say no.”

The show debuts on November 28, nationally, at the Milan Vapore Factory until 14 December 2025.
