Ex-football star and his wife expect 14th child

The family of the former NFL star Shaun Alexander continues to grow. His wife is now expecting the 14th child.
Shaun Alexander became known for his sporting success with the Seattle Seahawks. But even years after his career end as a football player, the former NFL star determines the headlines. The reason: his wife Valerie is pregnant again. The 48-year-old revealed this in the sports broadcast “Up & Adams”. It is the 14th child.
Alexander casually mentioned the pregnancy: “We are just starting to tell people, but number 14 is on the way,” he said. Shaun and Valerie Alexander have been married since 2002 and have 13 children – ten girls and three boys. Her daughter Torah, the ninth child, died in 2017 just 70 days after birth.
Sportily, Alexander had his wedding in the early 2000s. From 2000 to 2008 he was active in the NFL, most of the time as running back at the Seattle Seahawks. The 2005 season, in which he hired the NFL record at that time and achieved a total of 28 touchdowns with 27 rushing touchdowns, was particularly outstanding. He was elected to the MVP, i.e. the most valuable player.
Injuries threw him back in the years after his personal triumph. He finally ended his active career in Washington after only one year.
