Not only Gordon, but also his co-host Froukje de Both receives from Johan Derksen. He finds her totally not convincing in the morning of Radio 10. “It’s just a boring girl.”
In the meantime, it is no longer what Johan Derksen thinks about Gordon and his new radio adventure, but what does he think of his new co-host Froukje de Both? Well, he is not charmed by that either. He believes that Radio 10, where he also makes a program, has made a mistake with the adoption of this duo.
Knockout
Wilfred Genee punctually Today Inside That the listening figures of Radio 10 have fallen since the took office of Gordon and Froukje. “We can’t start talking about it, but I secretly do it a little: the listening figures of Radio 10,” he says, possibly referring to a Talpa ban on negative publicity around the station.
A video is then started to start someone who is knocked out. Political reporter Merel Ek: “Well, that’s a bit how things are going! Those were the listening figures for Radio 10!”
Tenth channel
Before Gordon and Froukje took office, Radio 10 was the sixth radio station in the country. What about that now? “I find it very annoying for Gordon, because Radio 10 is now as a transmitter ten, so it has dropped,” says Table guest Tina Nijkamp. “Anyway, they say that Radio is Slow, but of course it is not very good news.”
She continues: “Of course everyone had hoped that if you start such a radio show, it goes up. When Edwin Evers, for example, started that Friday of Radio 538, then those figures from Radio 538 went pretty well.”
A boring girl
Wilfred expected higher listening figures. “To be honest, I expected that people would be curious to listen and stuff.”
Why is that apparently not there? Johan Derksen: “There is no one curious about Gordon. That is about. And that Froukje, there is neither smell nor taste. A boring girl is just. He wants to get her career going a bit again and thinks: I’m going in Gordon’s slipstream, but that’s the wrong slipstream.”
‘Doesn’t look good’
Tina agrees. “Yes. It doesn’t look good for the time being.”
Johan: “You can’t do this to people early in the morning. You arrive your nest, you turn on the radio and then you have to have a nice cheerful entertainment program with the facts from the newspapers and so on, but then you get these bad kettles that are only laughing at themselves.”
Thoughtless
It is a misstep of Radio 10, Johan concludes. “I think it is very thoughtless of Radio 10 that they have taken this gamble, because I find this more or less an insult towards your listeners.”
Wilfred: “Isn’t this John de Mol who decides it?”
Johan concludes: “Yes, John also put me on Radio 10, but then in the evening between ten and twelve.”
