Former NFL superstar Tom Brady has been filling several roles since his resignation. And that increasingly causes resentment.

Tom Brady’s appearance in the National Football League (NFL) is currently causing a conversation. It is about his double function as a TV expert and co-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. In this, critics smell a significant conflict of interest.

The star quarters back, who won the Super Bowl seven times, always appeared as a ray man despite one or the other affair on the pitch, he worked hard in training and convinced by top performance on the field. And even after his retreat from active sport two years ago, Brady is still omnipresent in the NFL. Above all, because he now comments on the NFL games for the Fox Sports station: in the second season of a contract, he is over ten years for which he receives a total of $ 375 million.

But recently the criticism is accumulated by the greatest football player ever. Because what he speaks into the microphone during the NFL encounters is not well received by everyone in the league.

Brady’s role as a TV expert is seen increasingly critically. In the NFL it is common for the commentators to have background talks with the coaches of the two teams before a game-not least there is talk about match plans and strategies. As a result, the men and women on the TV microphone have a knowledge advantage over the audience. Normally.

Brady can virtually take part in these “Production meetings” – but: he has a second hat. Brady is a co-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and as such he should not have this TV insider knowledge. No wonder that the resentment over the spy increases, because Brady also seems to use his insights as a TV expert for the Raiders.

Brady clearly rejects the criticism. He felt “morally and ethically” committed to the sport that gave him so much, he wrote in his weekly newsletter. “Therefore, the point at which my roles overlap is not a point of conflict, even if paranoics and doubters may believe that.” There is “no dilemma” through his two roles. Rather, the general uncertainty that currently prevails in the world sow is suspicious of people, according to the 48-year-old.
