Copenhagen (dpa -AfX) – Drone sightings have just paralyzed air traffic in Copenhagen, now there is a drone alarm again in Denmark: drones have been spotted again at night over several airports. The airport above the city of Aalborg in the north of the country was blocked for several hours. Drones were also observed near the airports in the important port city of Esbjerg and in Sønderborg near the German border, as well as at the Skrydstrup military airfield. The responsible police stations said that there were no danger to flight passengers and humans.

It was only on Monday evening that the viewing of several larger drones had led to a good four -hour blocking of the Copenhagen airport, which is one of the most important airport of Scandinavia. Around 100 flights were painted, tens of thousands of passengers were affected by impairments.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen spoke of “the most difficult attack on Danish critical infrastructure”. It is still unclear who is behind it. Frederiksen did not want to rule out Russia’s responsibility. The Kremlin denied a involvement. In the meantime, flight operations in Copenhagen are running normally again.

Drone alarm in the head of the government

Now the airport in Aalborg – the hometown of Prime Minister Frederiksen, who is considered a decisive supporter of Ukraine, also had to be temporarily blocked for starting and landing. Since the airport is significantly smaller than the capital airport and the drones were only spotted late Wednesday evening, only a few flights had to be redirected or deleted. After a few hours, the airspace was released again.

At around 3:00 a.m. the night, the police declared the on -site deployment on site, but announced intensive investigations. Operations manager Jesper Bøjgaard Madsen said that it was not possible to get the drones from the sky. However, it is assumed that they are no longer in the area. In the morning, the first planes were able to take off again.

Similar pattern in Aalborg and Copenhagen

The drone activity in Aalborg is similar to those in Copenhagen, said the head of the Danish Reich police, Thorkild Fogde, at a nightly press conference. You can see a similar pattern, the drones are clearly visible and on the move with the light switched on.

The local police spoke of several drones of a certain size

– The Reich Police already ruled out that it was private

Models acted. In the incident in Copenhagen, the police page has so far been talking about a “capable actor”, that is, perpetrators who have the necessary skills and tools to do such a maneuver – either, thereby to create unrest or possibly also to test out how long their drones in the air will remain unobserved.

Further sightings in West Denmark

The first drones were observed in Aalborg around 9:44 p.m.

– Almost simultaneous sightings followed in Esbjerg, Sønderborg

and Skrydstrup. All of these places are located like Aalborg in Jutland, the western part of Denmark, which borders Germany in south. Here, too, the missiles were on the move with the light on the lights on the police and from the ground. Unlike Aalborg, the airports did not have to be blocked – no flights had been planned from there until the morning hours.

In the morning, the police could not say who controlled the drones and what motif behind it. Denmark’s Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen and Justice Minister Peter Hummelgaard wanted to comment on the situation in the morning.

Unclear location in Billund

As if that weren’t enough, the airport in the small town of Billund was closed at short notice for just under an hour. Backgrounds are still unclear – reports on possible drone activity initially remained unconfirmed. The city is primarily as a home of the Danish player company Lego known./trs/dp/jha
