We were all able to see in what the brute way the police were attacked at the riots in The Hague. The violence was of a kind that gave the police ‘shooting’ moments. The whole of the Netherlands and politics also spoke of it. Windows of the D66 office were also thrown in. Yet the ME’ers did not let themselves be fooled and left their gun in the Holster.

Many would have responded very differently to that. That also immediately indicates how disciplined our police is. And then the first detainees are in court. The penalties will certainly not be wrong, you still think. At least, you can at least expect that. Well, that ended in a major disappointment. Almost all prison sentences ran almost with a hisser.
The court ‘reward’ the total aggression with some meaningless community service sentences or at its best with conditional prison sentences. And yes, in all cases they were obliged to deposit money into the violent crimes damage fund. If that is not a license to start riots in the future, then I don’t know anymore. Police, thank you for your efforts!
