In the first week of the UEFA Europa League, Fenerbahce was defeated 3-1 to Dynamo Zagreb.
At the end of the match Croatian team coach Mario Kovacevic made statements.

“After the Hajduk match, we didn’t have much time, we knew that Fenerbahce was good players, but they are not yet a team. We were better from the first minute, we did not expect a contract, we held the ball on our feet and created opportunities. They could not create a single real opportunity against us.
