Although the fuel business had to be discontinued at the turn of the year, Majalas decided to invest more southwest and develop it. It was worth it. Neste Matti and Liisa’s station was selected for the second time in Finland’s vote for the best lunch place in Finland.

Majala believes that there are many reasons for their popularity, but he says the importance of delicious food, good location and excellent service. All of these create an atmosphere where there can be several people who are unknown to each other at the same table to eat together. And no one chooses about it. Just ask if there is room.

– Rarely does anyone go to the same table with a guest. But for us it is everyday, and it doesn’t hurt anyone. That’s probably a kind of atmosphere.

On average, Matti and Liisa station sells 312 lunch a day, but customers have not yet been sized for the number of lunch. Majala says that now the victory was made a decision on the expansion.

Since last year’s victory, entrepreneurs at other lunch and traffic station sites have also been customers.

– They want to get to know our activities. I think the lunch offering on the roadside has evolved during the year. Lunch tables have been redesigned. Inspired by our victory, several places have gone to the development rally.

Majala considers competition only a good thing. Businesses have to develop, making everyone win – including customers.

No one big hit food Majala cannot name their lists. The sales of all foods are very smooth, but one specialty is there.

– Liver sauce is quite surprising. I don’t know how the kitchen does it, but they get the liver in the mouth. It is done a certain amount and sometimes it may run out before five o’clock.
