1. Elvis was the first to speak about an abortion
When Priscilla became pregnant on the wedding night, she was “shocked”. “Neither Elvis nor I were ready for a child. He feared what fatherhood would mean for his career. His fans had to get used to the fact that he was married.”
She too was worried about what a child would mean for marriage. ELVIS finally asked if she wanted to abort. “He said he would support every decision. His words were a wake -up call. I started crying: ‘No! This is our baby!'” After the birth of Lisa Marie, both were “hopelessly in love”.
2. Elvis called while she was in bed with Robert Kardashian
In 1975 Priscilla dated the lawyer Robert Kardashian. One night, Elvis called at 2 a.m. to tell about an appearance. Since Kardashian was in bed, she crept into the hallway to accept the call.
“Despite divorce, he could not accept that I was with someone else. If he had come up with it, he had been freaked out. He always carried a invited weapon with him.”
3. Kardashian wanted to get married – Kim made contact
Priscilla writes that Robert Kardashian had married intentions, but did not match them. Later, in the OJ Simpson process, he almost destroyed him that his friend was probably committing the murders.
When Kardashian was dying in 2003, Kim called Kardashian Priscilla to make the contact again. “Robert and I had one last conversation. He was the most kind of all men.”
4. Michael Jackson was “manipulative” for her
When Lisa Marie Presley secretly married Michael Jackson in 1994, Priscilla was horrified. She believed that he had used her daughter to save his image.
“I knew that Michael wasn’t getting Lisa Marie. But the Presley clan. He connected the King of Pop with the King of Rock & Roll. I didn’t think he loved her.”
5. She warned Lisa Marie of a child with Jackson
On a walk in the beach, Lisa Marie said: “Michael wants us to get a child.” Priscilla warned her. “I didn’t trust his motifs. A child would have been proof of his masculinity. Maybe he only wanted a grandchild from Elvis.”
Lisa Marie said Michael threatened that Debbie Rowe would get one with him if she didn’t want to. In 1996 Lisa Marie submitted the divorce. “She felt that marriage was a staging. He didn’t want it. He wanted Elvis Presley’s daughter.”
6th custody struggle led to the break
Priscilla describes the year in which she had the guardianship for her grandchildren Harper and Finley, one of the best but most difficult in her life. However, Lisa Marie demanded sole custody.
In a last attempt, she asked her mother to sign an affidavit against Michael Lockwood. “I couldn’t because I had never seen that he did what she accused him of. For Lisa it was betrayed.”
7. Scientology influenced Lisa Marie’s downward spiral
During the separation from Lockwood, Lisa Marie took up to 80 pills a day. Although she left Scientology, she took over her mistrust of psychologists and defended herself against therapy.
In 2016 she finally went to a withdrawal clinic. In a 2018 TV interview, she said: “My therapist said: ‘You are a miracle. I don’t know how you are still alive.'”
