For security reasons, fans living in Frankfurt do not receive any tickets for the explosive Champions League game at SSC Naples on November 4th. This announced Naples Prefect Michele di Bari, as reported by the Italian news agency Ansa.
The measure was made on the basis of the opinion of the police headquarters and in accordance with the decisions of the provincial committee for public order and security, Di Bari said. It can be assumed that special security measures would have to be taken due to the rivalry of both fan camps.
At the round of 16 in the premier class in March 2023, there were serious riots between the fan camps in Frankfurt. For the second leg, the Interior Ministry initially denied all supporters from Germany access to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. After an urgent application from Eintracht in court successfully and the spell was declared invalid, the city’s prefecture at Vesuvius expressed a ban on sales for supporters from Frankfurt.

Because of the unsafe situation, Eintracht finally waived their away quota on tickets. Nevertheless, there had been violent riots in the southern Italian city between Eintracht-Ultras, Napoli supporters and police officers.
