Jessie Cave, known for her role as a lavender Brown, must not appear at the convention of the franchise because of her Onlyfans account.
We all remember lavender Brown, the Gryffindor girl, who had split almost Ron Weasley and Hermine Granger. The actress behind it, Jessie Cave, was apparently unloaded by a “Harry Potter” convention because she has an ONLYFANS account. The exclusion was justified by the fact that the convention was for families and that the platform was largely associated with pornography, which would not take a good picture on the franchise.

Wingardium Nakediosa: Lavender Brown Has Outfans
In three consecutive parts of the famous “Harry Potter” film series, Jessie Cave played the loving and turned out lavender Brown. Since her time at “Harry Potter”, Cave has taken on many smaller television roles and gave her West-End debut on the show “Arcadia”. In 2021 she published her first book “Sunset”, but the 38-year-old still felt financially in the Bredouille. Out of concern for her family’s well -being, the actress was forced to get money via more flexible ways – And created an ONLYFANS account.
“I was totally lost in January and was afraid,” Cave wrote “Wingardium Nakediosa” in her substance. “I didn’t know how to pay my bills and whether we could move into our new house,” she confessed. As a consequence, she made an account on the content sharing platform ONLYFANS in order to make a difference in this way. According to her own statements, she never shared pornographic content, but only recordings of her hair. In the podcast “Before We Break Up Again” with a partner Alfie Brown, she made it clear: “It is a fetish. Fetish does not necessarily mean sexually.”
Six months later, the actress is proud of her decision. The account helped her and her family to settle in their new home, “to delete it, lay carpets and build bunk beds for the children”. But Cave also explained that it missed some chances.
Exclusion from “Harry Potter” universe
In her contribution on September 17, for example, she wrote that the participation in a fan convention for the upcoming “Harry Potter” series was denied for the same account. “It was incomprehensible to me because most of the actors: inside who take part in conventions, have shot sex and nude scenes in television and films. I only play with my hair,” complained Cave. According to the organizers, their discharge would be due to the fact that the convention is a “family offer” and only associated with pornography.
Although ONLYFANS is largely associated with pornographic content, Cave emphasized several times that she was “not a sexual side”. She also spoke openly about her very personal motivation behind her only fans account. This was not exclusively with the financial emergency of the actress. This is how she confessed: “A year. I will try it for a year. My goal? Time investing in something I have never invested in: self -love.”
ONLYFANS could take a bad picture on “Harry Potter”
The stigma behind the platform is a strong one, and in many cases it is not entirely unjustified. The platform serves some people as a second mainstay – and quite a few play their accounts with sexually excessive content. However, the recurring stereotype about the platform is not entirely justified, since in addition to Jessie Cave, many other users also provide other content as online pornography.
The exclusion of the actress from the “Harry Potter” convention in this respect actually corresponds to a rather disrespectful way of dealing with Cave’s situation, which could have earned something from her appearance. Ultimately, Lavender Brown counts as part of the “Harry Potter” franchise as every: R different character from the film series. On the one hand, the exclusion of the actress suggests a rather unreflected attitude towards “sex work” (in the broadest sense) and on the other hand a certain ignorance of the franchise towards the realities of his actors: inside.
But Jessie Cave can stand over all of this. She was not upset about being excluded from the “Harry Potter” events. “There will be a new line-up now and it is a different time. I also took part in conventions for over 15 years. I have had enough photos and magicians,” she wrote. She added: “Excessive bizarre one-woman shows with dolls are not particularly lucrative, and in some years the money I earned by signing photos of my face was the only real money that I earned. I am very happy that I was allowed to do this. Now it is time to move on and play new roles.”
The organizers: Inside the convention, so far not publicly spoken to the cave announcement.
