Residents of the flat on the Heemstede wake up this morning around 4.00 am from a loud bang. The sound appears from the fifth floor of the building, where a large cloud of smoke rises from the gallery.

As soon as the smoke has been raised, the front door of the home in question is badly damaged. The frame next to the front door also became apparent, and the window burst.

Suspects found in playground

The alarmed police drop the area, start an investigation and start looking for the possible perpetrators. They are found not much later in the bushes in a playground on the big wheels.

It concerns two teenagers aged 15 and 16 from Amsterdam, who were completely dressed in black, the police reported. They are stuck and are interrogated. The police are happy to come into contact with people who have seen the suspicious cases in or around the flat tonight.

People with relevant images of doorbell cameras or residents with information about criminal conflicts are also asked to report. That is also anonymous.
