Gerard Joling thinks it is a shame that RTL does not support him in the race for the Golden Televizier ring. He would have liked it if, for example, they had broadcast spots. “They don’t make a shit!”

It may be a public prize, but it is mainly the people in Hilversum who are busy with it: the Golden Televizier ring. Angela de Jong argued in the spring that he has to go to Gerard Joling this year, but his real -life soap -only Joling is not yet a towering favorite. And the singer himself also blames RTL.

“No ass!”

Gerard believes that RTL is not exactly gliding. “At first I thought it was a joke, because I am not busy with it at all and I have to tell you: we were already very happy with the viewing figures,” he starts in RTL Boulevard. “That televizer ring, that’s bizarre.”

Then he continues: “RTL hasn’t done a ass about it yet. That is very unfortunate, because otherwise we might have been in the last ten.”

“It’s disappointing”

Private boss Evert Santegoeds thinks it is a clear sneer. “It is certainly, because they have brought him in with a huge contract weather, for three years. If that is one of your big stars that scores, I would also stand behind it,” he says in the podcast Strictly private.

The magazine maker continues: “It is a bit disappointing that he is not at number one as a towering favorite of the audience, because the figures were of course and Gerard has the gun factor hanging on his ass, so he has to pull it on.”

No campaign

Co-host Jordi Versteegden points out that RTL probably just wants to be neutral. “You see that SBS is not really campaigning for VI or something, so it is not the other channels that are doing so hard now.”

Evert: “No, but it is now or never for Joling of course and at the age of 65 is still so good, does not automatically earn a prize, but if you really know how to fascinate one and a half million viewers for an hour and a half, ascending above two million, then that is a format performance.”
