A driver got off the road with his car and supporter and bumped into a tree. That happened on the Baarleseweg, between Chaam and Baarle-Nassau. The trailer landed on his side. Someone had to go to the hospital.
It is not known how the victim is doing.
How the accident could happen and how many people were in the car is not yet clear. The car was slipped and ended up against the tree on the roadside.
A recovery company has taken the car and the trailer. The police had temporarily closed one lane.
